the Poweriser - bouncy stilt, has different models for different weights... the question is can a lighter person use a pair that's made for heavier weight or will it not bounce because there's not much down force?

One size heavier is okay but you have to jump higher first to get compression on landing to spring up again. If that makes sense. A child on heavy adult stilts will not compress te springs much.
