When you go through a search engine like google the colour changes mine goes to red.
when you visit another web site the site that you went to before is a slightly different colour to the others.
I know this is tell you that you have been on that page.
What i want to know is can you change the colour or make it darker?
As mine i very light and doesn't stand out.
Or are they all the same ?
I went around the houses there

You sure can. On the TOOLS tab, select INTERNET OPTIONS and then the GENERAL tab. On the bottom of that you should see APPEARANCE, there you can change the fonts, language and colours of the webpages that you are browsing.

I hope this is what you meant.

Ive done what you said that worked.
But what i meant you go on google now
Type in a word so it has searched for a page and there loads to choose from.
There all one colour yeh
Click on a page and it changes colour
come out of that page
Right the page you have just visted has changed colour to tell you you have been on there.
Its that i want to change as it doesn't stand out very well
Can this be done
I hope you can understand this
Thanks
I know what you mean now. You want to change the 'puplish' colour on the visited links to another colour. I don't think that is possible, at least in Internet Explorer. The colours are preset in the HTML of the search results.

You could always write to the Google headquarters, maybe nobody ever has and they'll appreciate your suggestion. You are quite right, the change from blue to purple is not very noticable.
