Placing item on ebay

I have placed my first item on ebay , but i cannot find it in its listing. I can find it using the advanced search and its item number, or thru "my ebay" page ,but not thru looking at the listings. Is there a delay in it appearing on the listings after lodging it .

there is a short delay and it should be there by now and depending on what item you are selling you may have to trawl through loads of pages to get to your item remember you have to get to the page when your item is ending and dont worry it is there trust me (im a doctor)
