Xbox live & AOL

Hi all, We bought an xbox 360 yesterday and have been trying to set it up to xbox live but it keeps asking for the DNS settings. I looked further into it and it says that AOL are setting up something called beta which will enable AOL users to use xbox live. Does this mean i cannot use it through AOL until then? Thanks

I have been connected for a few years to xbox live bhut when i was going thru all my connection problems i remember that aol users could not access xbox live at all as microsoft & aol are not the best of friends !

that said,i did hear some time back that aol & ms had resolved their differences and live would be accessible.
