Strip wash every morning (No bath) in lukewarm water.
Only eat cooked food at work (because we have a microwave at work)
Heating on only once a week for an hour (if that) to dry clothes that are only done in a
low degree 20 min wash and finished airing on hangers.
How the *** are we suppossed to ecconimise any further on fuel bills???
Loads of Martin Lewis type tips on line but that fella doesnt live in the real world.
And just recieved letter fro eon.
Estimated bills almost doubling.
Food and petrol going up as well.
No doubt clothing and other neccessities will go up as well.
Shall we all just shoot ourselves in the head now?

But if your using so little energy allready it will be hard to cut back....but am wondering what your typical monthly bill is currently (before the increase) if you use so little.
Do you pay by DD - that can reduce it abit
I think Martin Lewis is great. Yes his well off but he knows how hard thing's are

It's up to you, Nailit. I'd rather you didn't. We'd miss you, and you might well miss yourself!
Life can be better. Don't give up. Life can be difficult but you have a duty to live on. If you topped yourself, would you be hurting others? (and I've just told you you'd be hurting us). If so, then don't do it.
Not many here would do it.

Count your blessings. You aren't fleeing your country, leaving your home and husband behind to fight Russia while you head out in filthy weather not knowing where you will end up. You have a washing machine and a roof over your head. You can microwave hot food at work. You're not the only poor beggar in the world. You can come through this, you just need to grit your teeth.

Couldnt agree more.
Except this is England, not the Ukraine.
//BIW I pay for what I use mate.
Just dont know how I can cut back anymore?//
Yes normally I'd say 'shop around' but theres no point at the moment... so all you can do is check your on the cheapest tarriff for your present supplier... and rates are normally lower for DD than 'pay on receipt of bill'. I was wondering if you were on a prepayment meter which is the most expensive but it seem's your not?
If you use as little as you say am guessing your bill were quite a bit under £100 a month (still less than average and quiet abit less than what we pay)?

Actually thinking about it if you use so little it were probably under £70 a month on average if theres just 1 or 2 of you.. Even so its going to be a big increase. For some its going up lots lots more.
Hopefully it'll lead to a review of energy source's and less reliance on Russia... hopefully even some fracking trials soon in remote areas, reduction in energy/green tax, more energy saving measures, insulation, less lit up buildings....

Interesting that you mention clothing. Unless you are a child still experiencing growth spurts I really don't consider clothes to be a necessary purchase. I have clothes that are 20 years old that I still wear. The only necessities are socks and pants that can still be replaced very cheaply.
