I didn't have time to seek clarifications last night as bath time arrived too soon and two of my queries have now been answered. ( I was particularly keen to work out " alto" . I was one till quite recently!)

Thank you to all the usual helpers! But I still have one I need advice on.
25ac. Consignment of fish changing hands in highway around town. The answer seems to be "ring road". This meets the " highway around town" part but I don't get the rest. Could some kind person help me please?
