im on payg giffgaff. i am in thailand, i need internet on my phone, i have switched data roaming on but my internet is not going on.

no giffgaff customer services available so , what could be wrong with my network ??

What are you using to get on AB diesel?

Do they have an agreement with a Thailand mobile service provider to supply a data link ?

Have to say it sounds as if the network is down though. You did have roaming as an option before you went didn't you ?

Giffgaff use O2 as their provider, costs in Thailand , making calls £1-50 per min, receiving £1-25 Data £6 per MB. Text 40p , should work ok. Make sure you try an automatic selection of provider rather than a manual selection.

Just had a thought, you can NOT use goody bags when you are abroad, (just in case you are trying this) .

If you've got less than a fiver credit on your phone (excluding any credit from 'goodybags' and 'gigabags', which is only valid in the UK), you won't be able to use data services because they're charged at £5 per Mb. (So sending an email with a half a dozen 4Mb pictures attached will cost you about 70 quid! Use with caution!!!):
