My internet connection was knobbled this morning. It's working again now but my ISP mentioned a fire at the Derby phone exchange.

For reasons unknown, my IP address usually shows as somewhere in Warwickshire (I'm actually in Wales!) and apparently, landlines in that area were also affected.

Anyone else go missing from AB, this morning?

Incidentally, my PC connected as normal but my iPhone required a complete reset of network settings (second time this year), to get around a problem with the browser. I needed the PC to reach a website, to get a tip about this cure, so I pity anyone who uses iPhone/iPad only - they'd be left high and dry!
