Where's boaty?

Morning all. Spent 6 hours at A&E Wednesday night with youngest son. He twisted his ankle badly on the trampoline and it swelled up. The x-rays didn't show any obvious breaks, but they said looking at his ankle, it probably was broken somewhere, so he has a cast on to be safe. Have to take him to our local fracture clinic next week to have it rechecked. On the plus side, he's waited until we were due to go home, so only missed one day of swimming and the staff at Great Western hospital were fantastic.

Also, daughter, who has had a lot of disruption in schooling with ADHD, ended up having to do 5 GCSES, in 6 months. She got 4 Bs and a C, which for her, was brilliant. Probably not what she's capable of, but better than predicted and means she can do the course she wants at college:-)

Hiya Pixie. Hope your son heals up soon. Well done to your daughter on her results. I am only awake briefly and will go back to sleep soon. Overdid the drinking last night when out with my friend. We went to gym first and swam so it started so well! Going to stop all alcohol for 6 weeks from today. You heard it first! X

I'm fine thanks Pix. It's still dark here and it's raining at the moment. Hope it clears up as I'm off to Arundel today.

I know! I waited for a while. Don't know where everyone is. We'll be packing up cases and cars to go home this morning, so just enjoying the peace for a bit. Have a good time at Arundel xx
