We decided at the last minute at lunchtime today to go to see the fantastic Lancaster and Vulcan bombers historic flight in Lincs. We found a little country road just a few miles out of Newark and stopped in a farm gateway - no other cars around and we had a great view of them over a cornfield!

Seeing it on the news tonight at Waddington, I'm glad we didn't travel there, as there were thousands of spectators and to park the car cost £10, so I was very pleased we got some good pics especially of the wonderful Vulcan which flew directly overhead :)

PS Its the last item on this news link at 4.00 I think.
I also a few years ago stopped my car in an Essex country lane to watch the bombers fly past, it was such an emotional sight I stood and cried as did the people parked near me.
