I am new to Twitter and so don't know very much about it. I am desperately trying to tweet a photo but it just keeps coming up as a link. I have noticed that loads of other people are tweeting photos that show up fully on the newsfeed, and it says pic.twitter.com but I don't understand how they are doing this, when I type that into the search engine it just takes me back to my twitter profile. I have tried yfrog and twitpic but still my photos are showing up as a link. Please can someone help me before I go crazy??
I'm on my laptop by the way, this is where I store all my photos and so need to be able to do it from here.
Thanks in advance.x

Very seldom used it but have just composed a tweet on my PC and there is an Add Photo button under the text area; the resultant tweet includes the pic.

My tweets only contain a link when I do that though, and it says next to the picture, "image will appear as a link".
i've just tweeted a screenshot of this question http://i1347.photobucket.com/albums/p701/bibblebub/tweet_zpsbffbc4bb.jpg?t=1395788094 and as you can see it appears in the tweet (my twitter username is blurred out)

hmmm, I really don't know why it won't work for me, it's very annoying. Thanks for your help though
I think (but I could be wrong) that if you have ticked the box in your Twitter settings that says you post "sensitive media", then it will only show as a link that people can choose to click on. Untick that box and it *should* show the picture in the timeline.
