Real Player Wont Play You Tube Downloads

I downloaded a music track to Real Player but it wont play. The progress bar shows it is playing but no sound and picture. Other downloads will play but not this. Anyone got any ideas? TIA

It's probably downloaded as an mp4 instead of flv. A cunning ploy by YouTube to make downloading more difficult.

Check the properties of the vid.

It should play fine in Windows Media Player, if you are using a windows machine

Have you got the latest version on WMP?

If all else fails, try good old VLC - the most reliable player there is.
