Is there a way of turning them off?
I am fed up of getting a billion e-mails on everything.
I mean, I may be forgetful, but I do not need to be told when I am outbid, can bid again, lost item etc they are driving me crazy!
I just know I am going to miss an important e-mail one day while deleating all their rubbish.
Thanks for any ideas!

change your email address on ebay to one you never /rarely look at- maybe create a new one on gmail etc
I can't see how you get so many though unless you are running a large ebay business
I don't get a billion and I can have up to 50 things selling (or buying) at any one time. I need to know when I've been outbid so I can go in and up the bid if I want to. I don't understand why you don't find their alerts useful.
Go to:

Account > Communication Preferences > Buying Activity and turn on/off the various email notification options.

Thanks snags,that did it.
I don't sell anything and do have a separate account for eBay,but it just gets monotonous getting an e mail for something I am well aware of.
Thanks for other replies though,
Aya
