Chrome and Speed Dial

I have installed Speed Dial and I am using the latest version of Chrome. When I start up Chrome the Speed Dial thumbnails do not always appear and I have to click on refresh/reload to get them to appear.
Not a serious problem but annoying. Any ideas?
