A forwarded email received 95 times !

I recently forwarded an email with an attachment containing words and pictures to a friend.

He's just replied saying he's received the thing 95 times, yes, 95 times, but with no words or pictures, just masses of numbers and letters.

Any idea what's happened ? Is it a virus ? What should I (we) do ?

Outlook Express, by the way.

I had a similar problem yesterday. I was receiving the same emails over and over again. I too have Outlook Express, but my husband said mine was a problem with BT. It's fine today.
