"Your tax return appeal is rejected" says the header of the e-mail from Rolland Lopez!

I haven't appealed against any tax return & I never give out my e-mail address. I wonder what this scamster is up to?

The e-mail wasn't opened and has been deleted, of course. Anyone else had an e-mail from this jerk?

Yes, I had two on the same day earlier this week from different senders. I deleted both so don't know if one was from Rolland Lopez that is if he exists!

I had one in Spam Folder,just deleted it.

If Rolland Lopez had headed his scam e-mail "Your tax return appeal has been upheld & you are due a refund" he might have lured more unsuspecting souls.

The message will contain a link designed to harvest your details. Or to plant a trojan.

Your e-mail address will have come from someone's address book on a poorly protected computer.

or a robot may just have invented your address and be trying it out to see if it exists.

I don't know about Rolland but I get different scamsters emailing me most days. The most helpful ones include the word SPAM in the subject line, which saves me wasting too much time on them.
