I'm creating some interactive learning resources using Hot Potatoes and am trying to work the cgi script so that learners scores come into my inbox. I think i am following correctly the scripting info provided to me by Allforms but nothing is coming onto my virginmedia mailbox. I've checked spam folders.
Just curious to know if anyone else has made this work, and any pointers that can be offered?

Apologies if I'm being obvious here...

The majority of problems I've seen with CGI scripts is getting the path to perl incorrect in the first line. next most common is file permissions on the web server.
Oh, and as it's a mail script you'll also need to make sure you have got the path to the serves sendmail correct too.

hmm - allforms provides a bespoke line of script for the 'send'. Hot potatoes provides a simple entry form for its resources into which you paste the script. Then I need [email protected], so I think the problem will lie with having no access to anything else on the virginmedia side.
Hey ho, thanks anyway.
