I thought all passparts had to have six months validity, to go anywhere, but I could be wrong.
boxtops is incorrect, there are very few countries that require 6 months validity - it is a myth that ALL countries require it - just search AB

Thank you

As long as it is valid for the dates of travel it is ok.
However, your carrier is entitled to make something like "valid for 6 months after intended return" a condition of travel.
do you have a link please, Berkshirelad?
Just look in the small print of the booking form.
but what carrier? there are 100's - it's not true
I don't know of any 'carriers' that have a 6 month rule.

Some package holiday companies put one in their T&C - but you don't check in with a holiday company, just with the carrier. So the holiday company are never going to know anyway.
