Can i replace my AGP card with PCI express ? how do i know if i have a slot for it

Open up your tower and have a look.
This will show you a picture of the different slots and you can check if your motherboard has them.

I think there were some motherboards that had both AGP and PCI-E slots, but not many.

I think if your motherboard has an AGP slot it most probably wont have a PCI-E slot.

There is no convertor available to convert an AGP slot into a PCI/E slot.

Thanks for the info peeps, i have 1 AGP and 3 PCI but no PCIE so will have to change motherboard i guess.
