You kindly replied to my request to resolve problem Epson RX685 slow printing recently with link to info Windows Vista Resource monitor which looked to be a likely result
Unfortunately I have failed to access this despite searches. my latest search lists a file
x86_monitor_inf.resources which is a .loc file which I have been unable to open. Can you provide any further help please. I have also done a defrag and file clean up have not deleted setup log files not sure if OK to do this

Sorry .. just seen this.
Have you tried uninstalling the printer and trying another?

Earlier on I uninstalled this printer and re-installed to no avail and drivers up to date I have an Epson aculaser which I use only occasionally I have just tested this and printing is immediate AlBags

I gave up and called in a professional yesterday we think its the spooler that is the problem but hoping an upgrade soon to Windows 7 will resolve the issue
