if i scan in a jpeg can it be converted to a word doc

i have created a jpeg picture and if i scan it into my pc can it be converted into a word doc. so i can type letters etc on it, help appreciated

you can pull it in as a watermark, uncheck fade out or washout then type over it
If it is a jpeg why do you need to scan it in?

If the jpeg is already on your PC then open word, import the picture into word, then type over the top of it.
if you just pull it in as an image then I don't think word will let you type over it which is why i said pull it in as a watermark
Go into Word, type the required wording, then isert jpeg. Right click on picture, from drop-down menu select Format Picture,Layout tab, then Behind Text. Text will now appear on top of picture.

how do ipull it in please, i tried inserting it and it does not cover the whole document, thank you
After inserting the jpeg, select it and drag it to required size using the double headed arrows at any of the corners. Make sure you only use one of the corner arrows to keep your picture in the correct proportions.
