I used crap cleaner the other day. Next time I booted up could not get onto internet.Clicked on help and eventually got there.... Problem is, I tried to restore to a previous date (one in thick print) and whatever date i picked it kept coming back "your computer cannot be restored to (date) (a system checkpoint).. This was also happening several months ago when I tried it...Any help out there? Chuck? Rojash? Thanks in advance, John

maybe I'm misunderstanding here... but..

Why are you trying to do a system restore? you said the internet is now working so unless there is something else you've not mentioned I don't see the point of doing a restore.

If it is all working the turn off system restore to delete all previous restore points and then turn it back on and set a new restore point.

I tried system restore before I got it to work.. How do you remove old dates and set up a new (system restore) date? It usually sets it's own date! John
