Mac OS compatibility

excuse my Mac ignorance! My son has a Macbook with 10.6 (snow-leopard) and I am trying to buy him some touch-type software - anything I find is compatible with 10.5 (leopard). Will it work with 10.6?

It never ceases to amaze me that people will ask a question like this but not think it might be relevant to mention the software being asked about!

thank you for the link, which answers my question. I didn't mention any specific software as the were 5 or 6 I was looking at - I thought (naively) that there might be a general rule about the Mac OS compatibility. If that amazes you, then you really should get out more.
