I have always sent my old ink cartridges off to one of 2 charities for recycling using their freepost envelopes. However I have a new printer now which is an Epsom and both of the envelopes say that they cannot receyle Epsom cartridges.
A quick google seems to throw up a lot of sites which doesn't provide much clarity!

Does anyone know if and where they can be recycled?

shivvy I'm glad you asked this as I was about to send off my Epson cartridge in a charity envelope only to discover they cannot be recycled. Anyone explain why not specifically Epson? I hate chucking them out if someone will recycle them.
In comments the 1st one is probably the reason they arn`t recycled.
Thanks very much treetops, never thought to google it myself even though I seem to spend my life googling everything!

Didn't notice that til you pointed it out - Doh!

So are we agreed that there is no facility to recycle epsoN cartridges?
I take mine up to the tip - they have a bin there for cartridges and it doesn't say anything about not leaving the Epson ones.
