Whenever I click on an e-mail link on a web page I get the following message: "Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed". Could anyone please explain how I can remedy this situation? I am using XP, IE, and Outlook Express.

Hi, CF. Outlook Express is selected, but I still get that message.
OK, click start > run and type exactly the following into the run box (complete with quotes)

"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /reg

Hit enter, click OK when prompted and the rebott and try again.
