problem syncing my music from my iPhone

I had my laptop stolen and have been given a new one by a friend. I now need to sync my iphone to my new laptop and would like to put my music onto my itunes library, everytime I try to sync it asks:

are you sure you want to sync music? All exsiting songs and playlist on the iphone will be deleted on replaced with songs and playlists from your itune library.

Problem is the itune library is empty. How do i get my music from my iphone onto my laptop???

Many thanks for any advice.

Music sync on iTunes/iPod is as standard a one way affair: From iTunes to iPod only.
There are applications available that will enable you to populate iTunes from your iPod.
As you haven't mentioned what op system you use, I suggest you Google iPod to iTunes transfer and select the app that works for your setup
