blu ray playback

When i play blu ray films on my pc it runs fine if its a 720 film but when i play a 1080 film the picture will freeze on times but the sound still plays. also when this happens my cpu is running at between 80-100%. why is this and how can i stop it?

I'd suspect that either your graphics card isn't upto playing full HD stuff, or you have the wrong drivers installed for it.

What make and model of computer is it?

the computer is an amd dual core with 2 gb ram asus a8n5x motherboard and the graphics card is an asus eah4550. cheers
That should play HD OK

Try installing the latest drivers for the graphics card.

Well i have installed the drivers, and it still does it. do you know if i can over clock the graphics card to see if that helps?
