I have recently bought a new Sony Vaio all-in-one Desktop which is running Windows vista. Whenever I attempt to use any sort of external memory device, Flash Drive, External Hard Drive, etc, I get a message teling me Vista is attempting to install drivers, followed by a message telling me Vista couldn't install the necessary drivers and as consequence, the external memory can't be used.

Anyone got any ideas as to how I can get around this as I need the ability to use Flash Drives, etc.

Thanks in advance.
