Alarm whilst phone charging?

I've got a Samsung U900 phone and I'll have to put on charge soon - only thing is, I need it's alarm to wake me up tomorrow am - will the alarm work whilst phone is being charged?

Yes it will. Most samsungs also have a setting so that the alarm will sound even when the phone is switched off

Yes it does work! and I was blundering around my bedroom this morning in the dark trying to find the ruddy thing as it wasn't beside my bed as usual!! It got me up all right!
