Norton warning on email account

When I try and access my MSN mail account, after putting in the password, I get a warning flag from Norton saying.....Malicious script detected.....High Risk....and recommending .....stop this script ......so I cannot get into my account....and ideas please.

Some aspects of Norton are very useful eg: Disc Doctor, but keep it in its bottle! (use from floppy/cd only). When resident on the PC it can cause problems, such as the one you're having. Delete it from your PC and use selectively.

I've always had Norton loaded bill (about 15 years now) and have never had this problem before....

I've just run a virus check on my entire computer and it's found nothing. I've also tried to access my daughter's MSN account and get the same warning.......help
Can you access the list of E-Mails that you have got in your In-Box without opening them ?
I can access all my E-Mails without opening them and if I do not recognise the Sender I just Delete.

no I have 4 user accounts on MSN and you have to select which account you want to access and enter a password...it won't let me past the password screen.....well unless I ignore the warning and I daren't..
Being as I have BT Yahoo I cannot help you there Craft, but if Chuckfickens, VHG et al are around they will be able to help you with this problem.

I've just logged into my hotmail without any problems.

does the error have a number on it at all?

also just to double check, click the link below and once the page has loaded compare the address in the address bar on your browser with what the link says, are they identical?

hi chuck.....I just click on an icon .E mail (MSN explorer) which then show the accounts I have. I click on one and then enter a password and usually go straight in. Today each account I try and access I get the Norton warning...
Chuck...would you recommend Norton?

without any hesitation at all I would not recommend Norton!.

pmsl.......have just noticed the Norton ads under the question...
lol....Once my computer crashed and wouldn't turn on. The help centre said it was because of Norton.
adequate protection can be had using all free stuff, avast and avira are OK for free antivirus. If you go the free route then you also need a decent firewall which zone alarm do a free one that pretty good.

there is a lot to be said for paying for a all in one security suite though, as it makes the management of your security central in one place instead of spread all over the place.

The current best security suite in my mind is
