Hi Chatterbankers

Unsure where I should post the following but you seem to be the font of all knowledge when it comes to the ways of the world, especially joggerjayne!

A neighbour who is at right angles to our property likes to watch XXX vids in the evening on his very large telly. No probs with me (;->) but it is very visible when you look out of my young childrens bedroom windows.

The guy is a middle aged wide boy, pleasant enough, but does have a bit of a dodgy side and obviously I dont want to confront him. What do u think is the best way round this (other than swapping the kids to the front rooms and me getting a comfy seat by the window!)

Thank u all

well you could just nuke him.......alternatively you could have a quiet chat and maybe agree a peaceful resolution...I assume the guy has curtains.....
Demolish your house and brick by brick, rebuild it facing the other way. Your children's bedrooms will then face out on to the park...

or what craft said up there...
Curtains aren't the only solution obviously.... Blinds are good too.
Put blackout curtains at your children's windows or put them to bed earlier
A slow solution would be to grow a bush outside your kidlets bedroom window.

Perhaps in the meantime put something over the outside of the window at night like an old sheet or something?

This is quite a funny/serious question!

I think they can see to much bush already, that's the problem ;)
The kidlets might pull the curtains aside to peek though, cathy.
LOL, chuck.

Frosted window film allows light in but no viewing by children, also allows privacy for them.i assume you have window locks as its a childs room?

therefore no problem

job done

any further questions?

Knew you guys would come up with some diverse answers! Thanks vibrasphere, most sensible answer but the rest make me laugh. Cheers up a rainy old day!
actually that frosted window idea is good because you would only need to do it half way up and the light would not be affected. I saw it used on one of sarah beeny's shows and it was effective in a bathroom.
Excuse me mine was the best.

Your neighbour when approached may ask why you and your family are perving through his windows like some team of bleeding pepping toms eh ??

an englishmans hoen is his castle you peeping pervy , get the porno channels on your own tv ya skinflint git.
