I am running Vista premium with the latest downloads but, for some inexplicable reason (to me that is), very occasionally the mouse freezes when I'm viewing a web page, any page not just one particular site!
I've installed the latest drivers for all the hardware but, the problem continues.
Because it's so spasmodic it seems impossible to come to a simple reason, any ideas would be greatly appreciated. B.

Hello beegeebee!
I have vista home basic and on 19.1.09 there was an optional update 'Office Live Add-in' which i downloaded.
Don't know what it does technically, but the outcome was that my PC MOUSE stopped working. BT IT technicians advised me to go out and buy a new mouse with USB, which I did (PC World). I think it cost 4.99.
If you have downloaded the same Update it is possible that you are encountering similar problems to what I had.

redman41. gosh would never have thought of that. And for the price of a new mouse maybe providing the answer, could be a very cheap solution. Thanks a lot, I'm going to give it a try. B/
