Yahoo default email address

My sister has Yahoo set as her default email address and if she clicked on a contact link an email would open up ready addressed to the contact, but the last few days when the email opens up the "to" address bar is not pre filled in. With links you often can't see the email address you're writing to because they automatically fill in the address line so she can't paste amd copy. Has anyone any idea how to put this right please?

This page explains how she can make Yahoo Mail her default mail application:

Apart from that, you can always get the email address from a website link. Right-click on the link and choose "Copy Shortcut". In the email "To", right-click and select "Paste". Delete "mailto:" from the beginning of the address.

When you hover the mouse pointer over an email link, you can also see the address it points to in the bottom left corner of Internet Explorer, on the grey bar.

Thank you very much Koster, she did have Yahoo set as her default email but somehow it doesn't work anymore, it needs looking into really and maybe resetting but it's time...there isn't enough.

But both of your tips are brilliant and solve the problem nicely, thanks again we really appreciate your help.
