who uses IE and who uses firefox, and why.

Firefox, Ethel recommended it to me as its supposed to be quicker than Internet Explorer

I am at the age where I don't like change.

Firefox every time, it is faster, more secure and I just prefer the interface.

Also ad block plus is a great addin for it.

I use Firefox because I don't like IE.

I do like the choice of Add Ons with Firefox - couldn't live without AdBlocker which stops me seeing the ads on web pages; nor FoxMarks which synchronises all the bookmarks and passwords on my pcs; nor scrapbook which saves my collection of webpages methodically; quicknote which takes notes quickly...

ie ran way too slowly for me. I'm a firefox gal.

If you have lots of pcs, the FoxMarks is a boon.

I also love the bookmarks toolbar - where I can directly access my favourite sites my clicking on an icon. I have 40 icons across the top of my screen.

it will leave IE intact on your system so you can choose which one to use at any time

How do you remove IE completely and put in Firefox ?

I use firefox now after it was recommended to me after too many problems with IE. I love it, much better.

In IE though you can access favourites easily with the drop down menu on the left top of the tool bar .
