recovering deleted files from recycle bin

i have accidentally deleted some pictures and sent them permanently to recycle bin. can i retrieve them please thanks

Sure. If they are still in the recycle, just click on the file you want and click on the restore button.

If they are no longer in the bin, then you may be able to recover them using disk recovery tools but it depends how much you have used the PC. Search for disk recovery tools in google.

thank you squarebear. i will try. i have deleted them from the recycle bin so i may have lost them permanently.

I am not a computer buff but I believe that 'deleting' an item does not delete it. It merely frees it for deletion when your computer requires the space to save new data. So hopefully if you purchase the right software you may be able to retrieve your pictures. Try not to use your computer until then.

I've used ADRC Data Recovery Express (costs around $6, and I do mean six) to recover files from an NTFS disk which had somehow managed to lose the master file table (which meant the drive couldn't be accessed though it was recognised as an NTFS drive). I've also used PCI File Recovery (which is free) when I've managed to delete stuff I really shouldn't have.

Obviously if you download or install anything you shouldn't use the drive which has the deleted files on it otherwise you may not be able to recover them anyway.
