Bluetooth (BT Port) problem

I have recently reinstalled Bluetooth on my laptop (XP) and use a dongle. Each time I turn on the computer, it tries to install "BT Port" after which I get a message saying that the install was unsuccessful. If I look in the "Devices" folder, there are several BT Port icons which appear OK, but the Bluetooth icons have yellow question marks! When I first installed it, I didn't have this problem at all, and would be interested to hear if anyone knows what is happening. Thanks.
