iTunes won't burn to a cd-r

I am trying to burn an LP that I have saved on iTunes onto a CD-R. However I can't find the Burn button that is supposed to be at the bottom right hand side of the iTunes window. The 'burn playlist to disc' option on the File drop-down menu isn't highlighted either so it can't be used either. Any ideas?

Have you actually turned the album into a separate play list? If you searched for the album via your music folder and tried to burn from there it won't work.

Click- File-New playlist and copy the album into the new playlist folder. Then you should be able to burn it.
