Is it possible to save youtube files into your own files such as your music files so you can then put them onto CD or onto your mp3 player? If so how?

i think theres also a programme that does it but i don't think its legal!
Yes you can. You can install realplayer which will download the video to your hard drive at the click of a button. Very simple to do.

You can use a free sound recording program, Audacity, that will record any sound played on your computer in an mp3 format.

Here is a Youtube Vid that shows how to do it a slighly different way

Download Audacity here:

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Other people will have different ways of doing things.

if you use Firefox you can install the download helper add on which lets you save pretty much any video of the internet and save it to your computer too.

It does save them in original format though so you then have to work on it from there
