A jpg file is an image format so there is nothing you can use to open it up and edit it.

Have you got perhaps a previous version of the file (non-jpg) that you could open and update.

If you saved it as a jpg file by mistake you must have a copy of the non-jpg file on your computer somewhere as you must have been editing it when you saved the jpg file.

That's a ****** , the only other copy I have is good old paper . I scaned that in originaly must have had a minor brain failure saving it as an image file . Oh well will have to go into town & re-scan it . Thanks vehelpfulguy
vhg is right ...
your only chance is to use an OCR prog to "read" it and turn it back into words.

but then you have to check it all ... so you will probably be quicker printing it out ... and re-typing...

(don't forget to include your word processing skills!! ;-0)
bimbim you didn't have a brain failure at all, if you scan something then you are basically taking a picture of it which is why it was saved as a picture format.

As AC said your best bet is to sit down and type it in again, if you take it into town and scan it again your just going to end up with another picture of your CV
