Please please help!! Ive lost my CD - Rom Driver!!

Im tearing my hair out! I have a toshiba a100 laptop with vista, and the driver for my DVD drive has gone!! I called Toshiba and they told me to roboot using my CD, but I bought the laptop in OZ and I didn't get a cd!! ahhhh. where can I get a driver for a ..******** DVD-RAM UJ850s ATA Device Ive looked everywhere!!!!!!!

Unfortunately this is a common error with laptops running Vista.
Before running this fix, check the BIOS to see if the drive is listed.
The fix is shown below but can be a bit difficult to a 'novice' but don't be put off.
1.In the 'start search' box type regedit, this will open the registry editor.
2.Navigate to the location below

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11�CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

3.In the right panel you�ll see something along the lines of �UpperFilter� and �LowerFilter� you want to click on each �filter� key and hit delete. Click yes when it asks to confirm if you wish to delete the key.
4.Reboot
