Whenever I get sent a jokey picture on wordpad, it tells me it can't do anything with the graphics. Why? What can I do? Please help cos I am missing out on laughs!

I believe wordpad is used for .doc files when you don't have Office (or Word) installed. It is really an ASCII type viewer that is not designed for graphics. Best get Word, if you don't have it already, or force the joke to open with Word.
