PC doesnt recognise my Ipod Nano

My son and I both have Ipod nanos and occassionally use the same Itunes - not sure how but suddenenly when I plug in my Nano it shows up in Itunes as the name of my son's Nano. It does list all my songs etc in the library so it is reading data from my Ipod but how can I get it to call it by the right name?
