inserting pdf

It may just be me , having a mental block, but..........

I have a 5 page document, which was scanned and converted to pdf format.I saved this in My Documents.
When I tried to insert it as OBJECT FROM FILE into a Word document, only the first page appeared.

Anyone got any ideas ?

I think you may have to convert back to a .doc file type ....Not sure Word can open .pdf files. I also feel you should only create a .pdf AFTER it's been edited and finalised......
