In need the help of someone with the knowledge of Vista please...I have just bought a Packard Bell Laptop with Vista Home Premium installed....It keeps requesting me to burn a Recovery Disc but after 4 attemps I still haven't managed it......When the message appears in the Taskbar I click it and install a blank DVD-R disc when instructed...The window tells me it is burning the disc and then ejects it...Then I'm told to re-install it to test it. The window then shows it run through to 100% . Then the disc is again ejected and a message appears stating that the burning was unsuccessful, please insert a blank disc.....I've requested advice from Packade without reply so now I'm relying on one of my clever colleagues out there to help me...Thanks...Telboy

Try turning off all non essentials that are running, especally antivirus, spyware ect . You might also try a different brand of dvd ,sometimes is the case.
