Ethel - Thanks!
I'm defraging now!

This is what the AB is supposed to be about - you ask a sensible question and you get a sensible answer!!

If your still around, i've just thought of another question.

I use mozilla firefox but apparently I can update to firefox 2.
Do I just go to their website and click to download it. Will it just update my existing firefox or will I have both - the old version and the newer one. If this is the case what do I then do?
Hope I'm not teaching granny to suck eggs, as they say, but I usually defrag once a month (first day of the month for me!) and Chkdsk every six months - the longest and shortest days of the year.

I find it helps keeps things running smoothly, and the defrag isn't the horrendous nightmare it can be if only done once in a blue moon.

:)
I use firefox (have done for a long time) - try the simple way first

Click 'help' at the top - check for updates.

If that doesn't work, have a read here, and download from that site
