Getting kicked out of Internet Explorer - help!!!

I keep getting kicked out of Internet Explorer, and get this message:-

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error

Program C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\explore.exe
Has requested the Runtime to terminate it in the usual way. Please contact ..........................

Can anybody identify this problem and help me get round it please?

Google toolbar maybe causing the problem?

Go to Start>> Control Panel>> Add/Remove Programs.
Scroll the list until you find "Google toolbar for Internet Explorer". Remove the program and reboot your system.

or re-install Internet Explorer.
