I want out of BT Broadband as so many times I simply cannot get online with them I think my yearly contract is almost up. The helpdesk has never been able to solve one problem for me. Who and where do I contact?
Then who do I go with for a decent service? Any help would be appreciated.

A lot of the Internet providers are having issues lately..Since the LLU unbundling of the exchanges...there have been horror stories from customers of most providers and some are very happy with their service and an equal number are not.Type the following into your favourite search engine.."The Broadband Resource"..... for a good idea of what's happening out there....I have ditched "Orange" because of poor customer service...AOL for poor service and other faults...BT for downright incompetence....Tiscali seem to be fairly well supported and I know of loads of friends and contacts who swear by the service they get from Tiscali....might even give them a try myself....The truth is...its a numbers game at the end of the day and a good portion of it comes down to good luck !! It shouldn't be that way but I'm afraid it's been proven to me by experience....Good Luck...

Thank you for the info. In actual fact I was wondering if that is the case after seeing many complaints on the net about various providers. Dont have a single friend who is in the slightest bit interested in computers so have no one to compare with, but must admit I do find BT's help absolute rubbish. They are so polite but hopeless when it comes to solving anything. Surely this is wrong as we are paying for a service. Sorry to be a whinger, but thanks a lot.
