Printing problems

I have copied a picture from Adobe (via the internet) it has placed it on the clipboard I have then pasted it into a word documnet
the problem is when I try to print it the paper comes out blank I have copied it into Photoshop and it will print out fine Can anyone explain this?

Is the "picture" a picture (jpeg, bmp etc) or some sort of Adobe format that Photoshop understands, but Word doesn't?

Try exporting the pic from Photoshop as a jpeg and then pasting or inserting the jpeg into Word.

It appears on the page and file properties recognise its there print preview recognises it is there but not the printer
I have done what you said and saved the Photoshop file as a jpeg file and then inserted it into a Word Doc and this has worked thanks very much
