sorry for being totally dimwitted


i would like to know how to copy a cd on my laptop then i want to put them on my ipod nano.or is it best to download from itunes the only thing is i only have dial up service and never done any thing like this b4

You will have to rip what music you want from cd and convert it to the file type ipods use, then just send them to your ipod.

dont download them from itunes - you will have to pay!


do you have itunes installed on your pc? If so you should just put the disc in, and then open itunes. At the left side your disc will come up - click on it then go to the top right hand side where it says "import cd" click on that and your cd will be put into your itunes library - next time you plug your ipod into the comp it will update it with those songs

as kazza says, use iTunes to rip your CD onto the computer, then plug in your iPod and the music will be copied across.

as for the music you can buy at the iTunes Music Store; don't buy anything if you value your freedom.
