I have recently been experiencing errors on a month-old laptop, when a blue screen is displayed and a message saying "PAGE FAULT IN NON-PAGED AREA" or "IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL" the system then reboots Windows.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

This usually points to faulty memory, as it is new, I suggest taking it back to where you bought it and have it tested.

It could be faulty memory. You could probably find a memory test utility on the web if you searched. The overclockers use them for tests.

It could be a faulty driver. Errors such as this aren't always 100% accurate in what they say! If you can, you could try removing some (some are essential) of the drivers, one by one, seeing if it goes away. Have you looked in device manager for problem devices?

But, as it's a month old, it's far easier to pass the problem back to the supplier! Why should you mess about with it?
